Nathan and I just finished watching the first season of The Walking Dead. I realize we're a bit behind the times, but oh my! It was so good! The first episode was super creepy. I had to get Nathan to sit with me on the couch and ended up smacking him repeatedly, but we both felt it was worth it. I was able to watch the rest of the season like a big girl.
I'm pretty confident that AMC is the reigning king of television. The Killing was amazing, too! I had to stop watching 3/4 of the way through, though, so I'm anxiously awaiting its release on DVD.
Side note: At the end of the The Walking Dead, they played what is probably the saddest song ever. EVER. This, of course, would be Bob Dylan's "Tomorrow Is a Long Time." It's unbelievably sad, but it also happens to be unbelievably beautiful. I couldn't find Dylan's version on YouTube, but I was able to find it on what appears to be the Spanish version. Enjoy.
